Marc Malkani
Interim CIO
Since 2020, I've been working as a transitional CTO / CPTO to turn around, structure or accelerate product-tech organizations facing challenges of rapid growth, transformation or crisis.
I provide general management with strategic and operational support to restore momentum, make execution more reliable and put tech back at the service of business objectives.
My career has been marked by high-stakes assignments with scale-ups and innovative companies, working alongside tech teams faced with issues of information systems security - including cybersecurity and security by design - product transformation, crisis management and software development. I've managed projects to make data more reliable and valuable, structure business roadmaps, re-mobilize teams and realign tech organizations.
With a post-graduate degree in AI (University of Aix-Marseille), specializing in medical imaging, I started out in the R&D department of an American start-up (later Median Technologies), before taking over the technical management of Genactis, then a young pharmaceutical consulting company. For over 15 years, I supported the company's international development, as well as its technological and organizational transformations.
Today, I work in environments that are often multicultural and international, in a wide variety of sectors - energy, mobility, software publishing, digital training - with an approach that combines pragmatism, tech excellence, product culture, data & AI, and operational rigor.Among my recent achievements: post-fund-raising structuring, product transformation, securing critical architectures, putting delivery back under control.
